Solid Air

Algorithm’s lull us into a false sense of feeling like we’re accomplishing some sense of discovery. Resist & seek out the people who slow the process way down. Derrick Gee who hosts Solid Air does just that. DJ, interviewer, purveyor of sounds … does an amazing job of making you feel like you’re welcome on his couch anytime to just sit down & have a listen. In his own words:

“Each week, join me as I curate music in an hour long hybrid radio show/TV show/hang out/DJ set that comes out every Thursday evening (US/UK)/Friday morning (Australia). Some listen while they work via a private RSS feed. Others cast to their TV and have it on as they clean and cook. My private listening club is a place where we can talk about and discover music together.”
